Please can you reccomend an ACCOUNTANT?? Please??

I've been trying for ages and I can't find one that
A- answers the phone/ emails
B- Isn't going to cost me a bomb
C- Specialises in Childminding (if possible.)

Also do you know the answer to this question - When do i have to hand over my accounts and when does my tax return have to be in if i started business in May 2006?

As a sole trader you don't have to hand over accounts, as such, and need provide nothing particularly detailed if you make less than £15,000 per year.

If you started trading in May 2006, then you need to complete a tax return after 6th April 2007. The deadline for getting that in (and paying any tax that may be due) is end January 2008.

Do you need an actual accountant? a bookkeeper can probably do the job for you at a fraction of the cost.
