Hi all, I am after some guidance from you lovely CM's!

I have been offered a job on a job share basis, I would be doing 2 days a week. I have 2 DS's 3y & 11 months. I would need to drop them off at around 8 am. DS1 would be dropped at nursery at 8.55 and picked up at 11.25. Dh would then pick them up between 4-5.30.

Could you give me an idea of how much this would cost. I am trying to work out if after paying the childcare, it would be worthwhile me taking the job.

TIA

I'm down the road from you in Walton & work two days a week with dcs 1 next week & 3 ... so let me tell you what I pay ...:
i drop ds to nursery, then drop dd at 9.30 to cm, she picks ds up at 12. I pick up 5.30. I pay £5/hr + £1 each for meals - total of £143.50 per week.
I'd say she's one of the more expensive locally ... & no idea how much prices will vary just a few miles down the road ... but hth!

Study go here honey type in your post code and find CMs in your area, that will give you their basic charges, then phone a few, we never mind any sort of enquiry. I charge retainer when child is at nursery if you want the place in the holidays, as it takes a CM's full time place. but every CM works different so phone a few.
