I prefer to have the NCMA contracts, but do most of the other paper work on the computer.

SHOSHAlee · 10/03/2007 20:54

If you don't have the NCMA contracts you cant use their legal line if anything goes wrong, I use them but do all the other paperwork myself. Hi Strawbs.

ThePrisoner · 10/03/2007 21:36

I use NCMA ones because they look ultra-professional and scare the parents. They daren't argue with anything on them!!

dmo · 11/03/2007 15:45

i type my own but use lots of wording from the NCMA ones

FeelingOld · 11/03/2007 18:29

I would deffo say use NCMA ones.

A few months ago I had a parent disappear wihtout paying me and NCMA helped me to get my money. The first question they asked me was did I have an NCMA contract with them.

nally · 11/03/2007 18:31

I use the original NCMA ones and their legal team are, at the moment, helping me to chase up some money owed.
I wonder though if it would be ok to photocopy or scan in the originals and just print out your own copies if and when you need them.. any thoughts?

looneytune · 11/03/2007 19:22

I think that may be a copyright issue? May be wrong though. I also use NCMA ones as I really worry about if I needed to chase money and didn't have them. Other stuff I do myself though.

thanks guys, i looked at the contract last night and although i could do similar, when you turn them over they are very in depth and informative on the reverse, so i will wait until i am paid this week and buy some more, esp if, like you say it makes a diffrerence in court/payment cases etc..thanks for the tips too

i have decided tho that i will do my own child record, as i already have an "information about a minded child" form, which is basically the same, so i will incorporate a few other bits and save on buying more of these
