I just had to tell someone! I have had a lovely morning with my mindees. Started off looking like the Von Trapps going to school. Walked with 8 kids! 2 x 11 yrs and 2 x 9 yrs, so they don't count! 2 X 6yrs, 3 yr & 18mth. Got shot of all but the babies and went to the park. Lovely day here, both mindees wandered along beside me chatting. 18mth just started saying my name and he is adorable! Came back for lunch, we had a carpet picnic! Rug on the floor, with cherry toms, cheese & apple, grapes (SKIN OFF!!) lovely plai water to drink and I have exhausted the pair of them entirely! Both crashed out on the sofa! I could move them up to bed, but it would be a shame to disturb them, so I'll just sit nearby on MN! Job satisfaction - I think so.

Isn't it lovely on days like that, spring days in the park, I love my job on days like that, love it even more today, once schoolies were at school., I had no mindees till 3! usual 3 full timers away today, so unexpected day off, and DH who is away for 6 weeks phoned to say he is coming home for the weekend haven't seen him in two weeks, so the sun is shining everywhere for me today.

It just got better! Only got my dd (11)after school and two babies going home at 4! Then dd is off to guide camp and dh out for the evening! Just think of the hours on MN!! I have the whole weekend child free! I am now going to wizz round the house whilst babies sleep and prepare to sit, sit, sit!!

Sounds lovely! Good for you!

My mindees parents said to me how much happier she is than she was in nursery (10 months old) and how well she is eating for me etc. It was lovely to hear, and so nice to be appreciated. Times like that are fantastic.

Glad you are enjoying your job
