When you have a problem they don't/can't help you?

Last year at this time i was dumped by a parent who refused to pay the notice period.Decided to do the legal thing and take her to court to get the unpaid fees.

Lawyers for SCMA took over and i heard last week that i will get none of it back.Apparently she has no "assets" and has (surprise surprise) packed in her job!!

Sometimes i hate this bloody job.Would love to be able to charge a deposit plus a months fees up front to protect me from this kind of situation. Will find it really hard to trust any parent in future.

Jura

We (my fellow minders and i)were told before taking out the cover that the SCMA would pay the fees owed and the lawyers would then chase the parent for the debt.Daft i know but we did believe that to be the case.

However thats that!!! Apparently i am just one of a long list of people whom she owes money.

Hey ho i am a great believer in the saying "what goes around comes around"
