how do I properly advertise for a family

I want to advertise in shops and places, looking for a family who maybe looking for a nanny.How do I go about this and so I don't blah tooo much.Where are the best places to put these and do I need to keep it short etc Any ideas, help me please

Keep it short...Qualification, experience, area.

Try local newsagents, library, supermarket, some shops with children clothes etc will put ad in window if you ask nicely, nannyjob website, gumtree.

some shops charge for you this, don't they? But for a small amount.It's just getting everything fitted onto a small card advert

Where are you, Daisy26? I would put it wherever children frequent. Playgroup boards? Spread word at schoool gate? The maternity ward at the local hospital (okay, that was a joke)... well sort of.

I would definately do gumtree and nanyjob though. As an employer, that is where I look.

What are your qualification, and what kind of job are you looking for? You know, like some nannies really want to work with young babies, and some want fewer hours (so school age children). Or maybe you don't mind and could go either way, in which case flexibility might be one of your selling points.
