CM Club - What's for lunch?

I wondered what your mindees were having for lunch? All mine bring their own and this what they have had today

Mindee1 A tin of Heinz ravioli, a packet of organic raisns, a packet of organic crisps and a Dairylea dipper.

Mindee2 A tupperware tub containing some tinned soup, a small brown roll with chees spread, a cheese string and a banana.

Mindee 3 a tin of tomato soup, two slices of bread, a dairylea dipper and a packet of crisps.

So far i have three pans on the go, (microwave broke) each with a different thing in it. mindee1 is crying wanting Mindee 2's cheesestring, mindee2 won't eat his banana and wants a yoghurt! Sometimes i wish they would just let me do meals and then at elast they could all be the same and i wouldn't have so many pans/different things on the go at once

alibubbles · 20/02/2007 13:16

That's why I cook lunch! It is much easier to do the same for all the mindies.

They are sitting having lamb casserole, sweet potato and parsnip mash and broccoli and carrots.

Plain fromage frais with mango and grapes

Water to drink

When i first started Cm here in Scotland, I got a little boy (mindee1's older brother), who was 5 months old when he started coming to me. His mum insisted on sending her own food, she said "Oh well you have my baby all day so i need to do something for him". Then the other parents just started bringning food as well.
Mindee 3 is a nightmare eater, she will only eat

green grapes
Bagels
plain bread (ie no butter, jam etc)
Dairylea dippers
crisps and plain cracker biscuits.
So her mum sends her food. I say i will charge£1.00 per day per child for meals if they want me to provide them, but the hourly rates up here aren't high. I was shocked when I see how much some charge. I know a CM who tried to charge £3.50 per hour and got no one at
all. I don't charge for snacks and drinks though
