Im thinking of taking on another baby in September. So that during the day I will have two 2 year olds and 1 baby. Is this possible? Im thinking of the practicalities of getting up to school and back and toddler groups?

Thanks Shosha. My main worry is getting up to school and back. My daughter will be 2 in Sept. She walks very well already but I doubt she could walk 10 mins. even if she could would worry she would run off. id rather have her fastened in but dont want to spend big bucks on a double buggy. Car seats, and high chairs no problem.

I also bought a double buggy off ebay second hand!
Look through freeads etc

I already have a double buggy but its transporting 3 kids Im unsure about. I dont want to carry a baby in a sling. I liked the idea of dmo but I cant see that on ebay.

I have recently registered as a childminder but am already getting a few enquiries and could be in a similar situation in a few months time but with slightly younger children and not sure if its something that is managable -

My own dd is nearly 8 months and a have a 14mth old starting in a few weeks time, no problem, but I have now had an enquiry for a 3 month old. I have explained that I can only care for 1 child under 12 months old so she wants to reserve a place for when my daughter turns 1.

That would mean a 7mth old, a 12 mth old and an 18 mth old do you think that combination is manageable or too young to have all at same time?????

dmo · 10/02/2007 18:59

i have a 9mth old an 12mths old and an 19mth old on the same day its ok till lunch time and then they eirther eat finger food or i feed them in a rally

This topic is obviously all the rage ... another thread discussing similar issues here (including triple buggies!)

Clearly there is a market for triple buggies! If only they were cheaper... well, buggies in general are quite expensive aren't they??

becksmummy · 11/02/2007 07:24

so looks like the main things to consider with 3 young ones is eating and getting them out and about, feeding wise my dd is already really good with finger foods so i'm sure by 12 mths she will be feeding herself really well so hopefully my dd and 18 mth old can be given food to feed themselves leaving me to feed the 7 mth old.

Think my main concern is getting them out of the house so looks like need to investigate this triple buggy!!!
