Not sure yet, i have looked at the pictures on the ofsted website, everyone looks very smart. I was thinking black trousers, smart top/blouse. You've got a long way to travel!, I'm only half an hour away, still losing a days pay though! Are you travelling up with other minders from your area?

I've bought a dress & jacket from Monsoon & a new pair of shoes (don't really do smart)

I think there have been about six around the country so far. If you go to the ofsted website click on the o/s providers list there is a link for the photos on the left hand side I think

dress and jacket from Moonson, sounds very smart, I don't do smart either, always feel a bit silly. I'm happy in jeans and jumpers really

I won't be until next year as my Ofsted was after the cut off date , by then I will have been Ofsted for 18 months!

I went to the one held in Manchester. Was surprised it was standing up all day. Stand up for speech stand up for buffet lunch then queue for photos. My feet were killing me as I bought new boots, big mistake. But a good day out, got to meet lots of people both minders and Ofsted folk.

I will be asking for a chair - I cannot stand up for very long

Hi Katymac, my feet and back still hurt from all that standing up!!

The food was nice, the time went very quickly though, thought we might get some nice freebies in that bag

Did you know the photo's are on the Ofsted web site, I just had a look for some-one in a blue dress and cardie, couldn't see you did you have your photo taken? I'm on page 16 top row, third one along, alful photo though
