Hi I am a newly registered childminder and am meeting the parents of a possible mindee tomorrow, I have a price list for them which also details holidays, illness etc. I have also made up a folder with an about me page, my certificates etc and my policies and procedures.

Do I need to give them a copy of my policies? Anything else I need to give them or any advice on what I need to cover or tell them would be appreciated - feeling very nervous!!!!!!!!

I also have another parent coming next week so want to say thanks for your advertising tips seem to be working well!!!

Do you have a sample contract? that can be useful to go through too.

contract, child record form would be useful...just let them look through you t&c while you make them a cuppa, but give them a sheet detailing fee's inc hols, sickness, retainers etc, so no excuse when it comes down to business.good luck

Thanks for your suggestions, with a sample contract do I just show them a blank one or complete one with dummy details??

Shosha - what is the handbook you put in your pack?
