Can someone give me an idea of prices for CM in TW11 area? Also, how far in advance should I start to look for someone? Thanks.

Where is tw11?

Ah, Teddington. Would think somewhere around £6/hour and I'd look about 3 months before I wanted my child to start.

I'm in Chiswick and charge £5.50 p/h or £45 p/d.

I'd start looking as soon as possible. It won't do any harm to have a look around and some cms may have a waiting list.

Thanks - sounds like I need to get on the phone now then!

i'm in tw7 and pay £5 per hour altho there are cheaper in this area.

i had a childcare major letdown but found my CM within 2 weeks. had 1 settling in visit then dd went for a full day.

you can find good people at short notice tho. i was really worried as i only need 2 days per week so have had probs finding care previously.

dd is 15 months btw.

i just rang around from the Childcare link list. several CMs who didn't have spaces recommended others and also offered to ask at their weekly CM Club and I found everyone so helpful.
