Please recommend a good babysitter Edgware, Harrow North London

Hi, I need a safe, checked reliable babysitter for a once a week or every two week slot. Hopefully that drives and doesn't cost the earth. Is that possible? What do they charge anyway, we have been paying a schoolgirl who leaves my son downstairs while she works on the internet. Out of order. We are in Edgware/Queensbury and I really don't want to have to drive her home afterwards. I am studying and need some extra help 2-5 hours whilst hubby works on a Saturday/Sunday so I can do my assignments. Also need to date my hubby now and again Please recommend and I will provide contact details. Thanks

to go out in the evening I now use www.sitters.co.uk but you have to go out for 4 hours or pay anyway. £5 to £5.5 an hour plus booking fees, it's worth it, they show up, get themselves home and know what they are doing. Proper grown ups!

No good solution for daytime, though maybe you should make it clear to the next babysitter their duties don't include surfing the web, chatting to friends, etc. Good luck.
