hi new childminder looking for a support group

do u know the best places to advertise my services. i am reg with ncma and am also on the enfield councils list of childminders. by the way madge7 how are u finding the children you look after. do u have any kids of ur own??????

Heya I'm a Newbie too!! (Here and at CM) I "googled" childcare and advertised on anywhere that was free!!!

I posted an ad on a site quite similar to this one, and within 4 hrs of my ad being on I'd had a call from my first "punter"!! I now have 2 mindees, both of whom are lovely

then just find your local area! The weird thing was, it was the first time mindee's mom had ever been on the site!

I was just about to say - do you know that is where I found my one and only mindee too? I posted on the off chance, and very very shortly after posting, viola.

It's very weird, coz I'm the only one on that site for my area, which is exactly where mindee's mom needed one!

Hi,

Well what an evening, I have founf the netmums site too and advertised, have learnt so much this evening, think my head is going to explode!! :-)

Issasmum, the children are cool, I have a 10 month old baby girl, she is very needy but completely adorable. I have her on a Thursday and Friday. On a Wednesday I have a 3.5 year old boy - fab fab fab!!

I met another childminder last week, I was handing out leaflets advertising door to door and she called me over and mentioned a group they do at the local church hall....I am not a mum myself (hoping to adopt 2 soon - fingers crossed) so am going to brave it tomorrow with my 3 year old at 10am, argh think of me. I know I am begin silly, but you know.......hehe!!
