Our au pair will be with us for 10 months - how much holiday should she get?

I always give 28 days in a 12 month period inclusive of bank holidays. So in 10 months that would be 23.3 days which I would round up to 24.

I give 4 weeks in a 12 month period (so 3.5 weeks?). It always works out at slightly more as often they'll go home for a couple of weeks at Christmas and/or Easter, or pop home for birthdays etc.

I give 20 days over 12 months plus bank holidays. Pro rata therefore 10 months would mean 16.5, rounded up to 17 days plus bank hols.
