Confused about childminders and fire safety

Hi everyone, just me asking for help.. again Blush
I have my pre-registration visit on Monday and I'm really unsure on what I need to have for it concerning fire safety.
So far, I have a policy in my policies folder similar to this one: www.wigan.gov.uk/Docs/PDF/Business/Professionals/Childminders/Emergency-Evacuation-Procedure.pdf
However, I haven't actually done a lot of the things on the list! Do I really need to contact the local fire safety officer? What has everyone else done?
Any help would be so much appreciated.. Thank you! x

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My local fire safety officer was happy to come out and review my evacuation plan. He gave me a couple of free smoke alarms even though he said I didn't need them.
