I use to have a childminder in Cardiff who was FANTASTIC,now a family friend. What area are you looking for? She is in Radyr!!!
Also know a few others so might be able to recommend!

Hello. My wife is just about to fully complete her formal Child Minders registeration. She'll be working from the Heath area. We have a 5 year old boy too. Would this interest you?
