CM Club:Maternity Leave??

Help I hate this

Child been with me for a while Mum is PG (wonderful news)

"If I take child out while I am on Maternity Leave - do I lose her place"

"erm - yes"

"Oh.......what is the discount for the 2nd child?"

"erm - don't have one - 2nd child takes just as much work"

"oh......"

I'm being unreasonable aren't I?

Certainly not unreasonable about her losing the place unless she is prepared to pay some kind of retainer at least.
Round here we usually offer some kind of discount for 2nd child cos there are loads of childminders looking for work so if I didn't offer a discount someone else would and I would have lost work IYSWIM. If you are in the opposite position and you have plenty of people wanting to use you then no its not unreasonable to not offer a sibling discount.
