I know someone who is doing it and they are really enjoying it. But they are really academically minded and very disciplined in thier work. They estimate 18 months. The official estimate is 2 years.

I'm doing the Diploma at a class and I can say that the course itself is fantastic. But then I am a relatively new cm and am enjoying all the camaraderie of the regualar meetings of cm without any children around. the language can get as lewd as we like within reason and we can chat about social stuff too. You would miss out on that side of it.
