CM Club: Help with how to transport three babies!

I have my own (1 year) and p/t mindee (17 mos) and a new baby (10 mos) starting in Feb. I also have a p/t mindee (6 years) and my own ds (10) before/after school.

My question is - how do I get the older ones to school!? I've just bought a tandem double buggy, will I just have to ditch that one and get a triple one? Also, the car! I've got an Audi estate with the middle seat just a lap belt. I am right in thinking I can't fit in a third baby seat?

I really want to take this baby on, but not sure how to do it!!

TIA for any ideas...

i have 3 babies 6mth, 12mth, 15mths plus my own dd whose 7 and i have a spare seat but only because i have a 7 seater (infact it is 6 seater at the moment) i think if you really want to take this baby on you will need to buy a triple pushchair and walk everywhere or buy a bigger car, if you cant afford to do that and don't want to walk i don't see how you can take this baby on?

Which 7 seater do you have? It's something I was definitely considering!

I have a 7seater bought for my CM business and it was the best buy. I bought a Grand Scenic made by Renault. I know wonder on a everyday life without my cm business how I coped with a small car!
Is the school within walking distance?
R any of the babies small another to go in a baby carrier?

or there are those buggypods that atttach to the side of a buggy as an extra seat..or a buggy board but the one with the seat on it..

dmo · 12/01/2007 09:45

have a look on e-bay for a pram
i got a triple pram which turns into a double pram its the baet buy as i dont have 3 children all the time so still need the double and single pram

crace · 12/01/2007 10:46

Oh, the buggy pods are an idea!

Thanks for all the advice - hopefully it works out.. my biz has been very very slow in starting. The last thing I want to do is turn away business!

Just to warn you, buggypods have been criticised quite heavily on here in the past. I think the idea is brilliant, but seem like the are not very sturdy in practice

JennaJ · 12/01/2007 20:37

I use a combi caterpillar tandem with a litaf pick a seat ( a new buggyboard with a really sturdy seat, new on the market) would be fine for the 17m old providing it wasn't over school run.

You could also get an easylife twin with a toddler seat on the front..can get them on ebay quite easily.

The triple which turns into a double is good too but at around £500 a very expensive option!!

meant to say providing it wasn't over sleep time NOT school run!!! lol

My mindees aren't as young as yours but still go in a buggy. I've been looking at triple buggies and they're so expensive. I use a back pack (for the lightest charge!) and find this works well, so long as it's not too far!

Hello there you sound like me earlier this year

I had a side by side with a buggy board on when had three little ones (6 months, 16 months and 18months) now bigger eldest walks as 'I want to waaaallllkkkkk' (get me hehe)

Even now if in hurray or pouring with rain two in pushchair and one in backpac (all covered!!)

School only 2 seconds away, but would love a bigger car so during hols we can go out more
