Yes but only for over 5's

either they pay for the next holiday

or work out 13 wks and divide by 12 - then they pay that each week

I won't (usually) do it for under 5's

I Have an 8yr old term time only and they dont pay during school hols.Obviously as not counted in my numbers I dont mind.
I would be reluctant to take on term time only if it meant loosing a lot of money.
Maybe charge a higher hourly rate to get your money bk

I have had school holiday only mindees, both schoolchildren and pre-school children. I just issued contracts detailing everything in the same way you would do an ordinary contract, except that it only ran in the school holidays.

I wrote down the hours/days required, hourly rate etc. (all as you would normally) but just wrote beneath all of it something along the lines of "contract for school holidays only". I've never written in the exact dates for school holidays. I was minding for people I knew quite well, so everything was very flexible.

I haven't had anyone who wants all school hols - I have some families that book odd weeks/days in the school holidays. As they don't have contract for every school holiday my availability is not guaranteed. If its just a couple of days they fill in a booking form and pay in full at time of booking and I don't bother with a contract (cos its often at short notice). If its for several days I get a deposit and weekly payments thereafter & I do a contract that specifies the days booked.
