How did it go?

Thanks for asking. It's ok i think, we agreed mindee would use the other bit of my 1st mindee's space (she comes 7am to 2pm) and he will come 3pm to 6pm then i will still have room for another full timer, which is great all round as they dont NEED childcare they just want to get him used to other children. But later he phoned me because he wanted me to work more hours at the beginning of the mth and then take him away for the last 2 weeks - said if i did more hours at the start wouold it be ok not to pay me for the last 2 weeks as i'd make more money on the whole - i said no, theres no point settling him to come at completely different times with a different routine to what he will usually be getting and it works out better for me for him to fill the other bit of a space than for him to take up a whole space by using 5 hrs of it iyswim.

Then last week i had a call from someone wanting occasional care to take a 2 yr old to nursery and 8 and 10yr olds to school - she's coming to meet me in the new yr, its only for 8 weeks.

so mornings with 6 children for 2 hrs....but then ill drop 4 off and take 2 babies to toddlers then 12 til 2 babies will sleep and i can tidy up lunch things and get a lunch break then at 2pm baby will go home at 3 i will pick another mindee up and drop him off at 6pm.

There is also another baby in the pipeline for new year - but im not too sure about that yet. if i do take her on it will mean i have 3x 1 yr old's mine being the eldest at 15mths

but i'm really glad this is starting to take off, i had a full timer leave about a week ago so i was worried about what i'd do for money but its not looking too bad right now.
