what do you do when a child leaves

one of my sweetest mindees is off to pastures new in a few days. what do you usually do to mark these events. do any of you supply a report for new minders etc? anyone with a template???? thanx

i have a mindee leaving at the end of the week and i am going to make him a scrapbook to take away with him so he can remember his time here with us and also a valuable keepsake for his mum. as its christmas im also giving him a selection box to take home.

i hadnt even thought about doing a report for the nursery he will go to plus by the time ive made the scrapbook i won't have time really.

my mindees do a scrapbook throughout the time they are with me i add pictures they have done, photos, funny things they have said or done
i also video the children and give them the video when they leave
its a lovely reminder
