New to this. Can anyone tell me which language schools au pairs use in richmond/twickenham/sheen?
Are there au pair Facebook pages?
I know there are lots in the area but no idea on how they connect etc.
candidates are asking for info so help from experienced mums would be great!
Thanks

Our au pairs have always made friends though FB au pair pages and also by approaching other au pairs in the school yard. We also have a few friends with au pairs and we introduce them early on.

No idea about language schools I am afraid. I have always left the APs to research them and every AP has eventually decided not to bother with classes because by the time they have been here a few months they realise their language is improving loads without classes.

thanks - not many au pairs in the playground at DDs current school sadly.

if you go onto Facebook and type in au pair London in the search bit a few groups come up. You can then get your au pair to join one of them and ask for recommendations.

thanks Karolann - helpful as always!

There's an English language school in Sheen. Also a flexible one in Twickenham, where au pairs can pay weekly.
There's parkshot college in Richmond. I'm really bad with the name of courses though, sorry.

Summermonths how do your au pairs occupy themselves if they don't do language courses? I'm interested because this is the first year mine won't be doing a course.

Luky: they hang out with friends, sleep, explore London, sleep, go to the gym, sleep, spend hours on social media, sleep, plan nights out, sleep and tell me how tired they are!
