Childminder needed from Jan in Mcr area..... ..

I am returning to work in JAnuary and thus require childcare for my DD (18 weeks at the moment). Unfortunately we don't need a full week of care as I will be working Mon-Thurs, but my husband works shifts so will be able to care for her on his days off.... Does this cause a real problem, or are people prepared to have flexible arrangements ?

Is anyone around the Mcr area with a vacancy for my adorable DD ????

Where do you find a list of childminders in your area ???

Hi there

You need to contact your local Childrens Information Service, they will be able to give you an up to date list.

I would expect you will prob have to pay for all hours you 'may' need a minder as they cannot fill the space when it is not needed, if that makes sense!

Where in Manchester are you?

It would depend on the childminder you choose. I have sisters whoses mum works ful time but dad shifts so do 4 full days one week then 3 the next. I only charge for the time I have them as it frees me up to do things around that time.

I'm not in Manchester but sure if you look on the childrens information service someone could do this for you. Thats the beauty of childminders we're all different

Unfortunately I'm the other side of Mcr from Bolton. Need City centre really or Stockport/Hyde direction. Think I might be sorted now, another meeting with HR coming up to confirm details, so fingers crossed.....
