Just had an enquiry to take on 2sisters 7mths and 2yrs but im only registered to take on 1other under 5 as i have 2 of my own.
Will the CSIW consider changing this as they are siblings??Or is it only for twins they consider it?
This would be a great earner for me as over 40hrs for each child!
Im going to ring CSIW shortly

It would depend on the age of your two children. Up until April 06 I was reg for 1 under 5 but in Dec was approached for a full time, as ds was starting school full time in the April I rang Ofsted who got me to write a letter explaining why and also the ages and times of all children present.

They let me have 2 unders 5's cutting a long story short!!! As ds went to pre-school 5 mornings a week and my little girl sleeps 12.30-3 everyday (sleep I wish!!) they were happy. Asked me questions on how I would do this and that paced out floor space. So I had 4 under 5's in the house.

The thing that makes me laugh now ds is at fulltime school (but not 5 until March) he counts as an over 5 in numbers so still have 4 under 5 during hols but now my reg is for 2 under 5's lol

waffle soory phone them and get a letter of as it did take 6 weeks for them to sort it out for me

Good luck

My children are 7mths and 3.5yrs
I have spoken with CSIW and they emailed me an application form to change my numbers.
The mums children are coming tomorrow but she was hoping to start the children asap. Im going to have to explain that CSIW said it could take up to 6wks which im sure mum wont be happy about but then I think she will find it hard to get another CM to cater for her needs so quickly as most CM's are full in my area.
Anyone had any experiences with how long the CSIW will take to reply. My application has already been passed onto my inspector.
