I have so far got my Registration certificate and Insurance certificate. What else should I have on display?

I look after 2 friends' children but want to have it all set up for my first 'proper' inspection. I intend to put it on a pin board which I can get out in the mornings and hang in the hallway.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I have reg cert, what we've had for lunch that day (wipe clean board), plans for the week (outing wise), a chart so all parents can see who is here when, any interesting newspaper articles, safety leaflets, etc. Have also drawn 2 lines on door frame showing minimum safe height and minimum recommended height for booster seats, and a poster about new laws.

blodwen · 21/11/2006 13:36

Oh, and complaints poster, complaints/concers/compliments book, house rules.

I display a stunning number of fingerprints and scrapes along walls at the same height as the handles on my sit'n'ride vehicles.

loulou5 · 28/11/2006 19:22

Yeah, it does take a bit of space, but most of it's in the lobby as the parents come in, and i have a few of the posters up in the passage way, along with photos of smiling faces of all my children (my own & minded)on a paper birthday train along the opposite wall!
