My DD has been asked if she would like to look after 2 children from 7.30-7 overnight 2 nights a week, and a further 4 hours for 2 days during the evening.
What should she ask to be paid for these hours?
She is 19.

Depends on when they go to sleep and wake. I would do babysitting rate until they fall asleep and then flat overnight rate providing they don't need attention during the night and I can sleep and if they wake babysitting rate again ...

I agree with above ^

Normal rate during waking hours, then I usually do a flat fee (which works out 50% of normal rate) for overnight fee.

our nanny does this for another family and it's babysitting rate until bedtime then £50. More babysitting rate if she has to do the morning as well

Thank you for all your responses, she has been offered £40 for the week..apparently she has found someone who will accept this!
