Anyone done the foundation degree in childcare?

Was wondering if anyone has done one and could tell me whats involved and how long etc.

I have been advised to do it(as part of the transformation paying scheme). And wondered how i can find info on it??

I know a few people who have done it. I'm due to start in Feb 2007, doing the E123 and E124 which together will give me the Higher Certificate in Early Years. I will then go on to top this up to the Foundation Degree. The local Early Years Dept. are paying for it

I've been thinking about doing it but not started yet. Our local Pre-school manager did it and said it was a lot of work but she enjoyed it.
