Either one or both of my 2 yr old mindees have peeled a great swathe of wallpaper off my living room wall, I was in the kitchen making lunch. thought they'd gone quiet so went and checked to see what they were doing, came in to be confronted with the missing wallpaper. HelpI can't hide it as it's by the door and it's the first thing rthat you see when you walk in the room. It is also irirepearable (sp)as the piece they have removed is screwed in to lots of little balls!! Help please!!

Well, if your DH knows what children are like you don't need to 'explain' this in any way other than by telling him the truth!

Can you not buy a replacement roll?

Perhaps you could use it as a good excuse to redecorate - but paint the walls this time though!

buy a tub of blackboard paint..put a old picture frame around the space and give the kids some chalks

BabyFox · 01/11/2006 13:22

dmo · 01/11/2006 13:42

poor you Henni
we dont get enough money for wear and tear do we!
my dh would be cross as well and deff not in the mood to re-decorate
the blackboard is a good idea but at the end of the day it is our home and i wouldnt want a blackboard in my living room

Thankyou for the idea of the blackboard Strwb but at the end of the day when the miondees have gone home I like my house back!

The room will deffo have to be redecorated now at some point, however neither off us have any time bookred off between now and christmas- we will struggle as it is to get xmas shopping done!plus it is a huge room that will cost a fortune to do.

If mindees EVER go to sleep today I will ring him and let him know what they've done!

can you not do something through your insurance?

StrawberryMoon · 01/11/2006 15:56

blackboard paint can be bought b&q, focus..places like that and a small tin is about £6, but covers quite a large space!
