I am so annoyed.
I have been a nanny for 9years, and in April this year i started a part time, after school position for 2children.(My son came along too, he is now 14mths!)
All along they have known i am registering as a childminder, as they are only here temporary and i wanted to have a back up plan.
1 month ago i asked them that now i am all qualified, checked, ready to go, would they mind the children coming to me from now..... This was for various reasons, main one being i wanted to get myself established so when they return back to their 'real' home i had work in place, and my son as mentioned below was unsafe in their house(he walked from 10mths)
'Why not,lets go for it!' was the answer!!!!
So...we started last week and boy do i enjoy it now!
My son no longer has to be stuck in a buggy for 2.5 hours every day(their house was very un-child friendly due to their children being older)Put it this way, he found a mans shaver on the living room floor and had his 1st shave aged 11mths, then again on occasions. I could never concentate on cooking as he'd be in every cupboard, up the stairs, eating any lego small toys, tripping into coffee tables etc....
I then got all the paperwork ready, inc contacts but NOOOOOOO they refused to sign them as
1)I charge for their holidays (not mine i must add)
2) I won't accept children if they are sick/unwell
3) They have to collect them at the end of the day
4) They now decdied they prefer them to be in their own home.
Im annoyed/angry/upset etc as they have said yes to everything all along, so now as from November i am childless.
GRRRRR Just needed to let off steam..... now off to the gym.!!
