How early to recruit for au pair?

I am looking to recruit an au pair to start in July. How soon would people advise I start looking? I am thinking from reading threads here that I would recruit myself via au pair world etc rather than go via an agency, if that makes a difference?

I would probably start looking now!

But certainly March at the latest, in my opinion.

Many eauropen colleges finish in early june so potential au pairs are looking soonish as they will want to know what they are doing over summer.
