Some of you might recognise me as the mum in search for a nanny about a month ago. my new nanny has arrived and i just wanted to share my good news that she is BRILLIANT. She is so calm with the children, so patient at playing with them (play-doh etc etc), so neat around the house, so good at multi tasking, so "respectful" but funny as well, and so appreciative of the little things we do for her to say thank you. She is english, and she drives (whoohooo), and is a fantastic result. I was very apprehensive given my last nanny was with us for 2 1/2 years but given the ages of my children now, i do think that the change was probably all for the best. Thanks for those that sent me best wishes and for advising me to follow my gut (i offered her the job within the day i met her - obviously subject to referrals all checking out). Long may it continue!
