My ds, aged 22months has been going to the same childminder since he was 9months old. She is a mum of three school aged children and also minds 2 other little guys. One is 3 and the other just turned 2. This morning I dropped ds off, and carried his bag into her kitchen, ds ran into her kitchen, the 3yr old (C) got down off his chair and ran to my ds and hugged him and kissed his cheek, then the 2yr old (R)came from the playroom, hugged and kissed my ds (who hugged them both back as tight as he could whilst going Ahhhahhh) and they all took hands, with ds in the middle and plodded off to play with tractors!

It did my heart good to see how he is such good friends with these little guys he spends 3 days a week with, just thought I would share!!

Thats such a nice story. Nicer than the one on another thread I just saw about the 9 month old baby shouted at by his CM.Very . Poor mum and baby.

Glad all your lo's have such a nice time with their CM. I CM a 10yr old after school ( I've looked after him since he was 8 months, used to be his FT nanny before I had my own kids and he started school)and my son adores him. They play lovely together despite the large age gap. I'm going to start having a boy the same age as my son 1 day a week soon so hopefully they'll play nice aswell.

awww thats sweet.

I had a friend and her 22 month old twins over at the weekend to play with dd. Her little boy loves kissing my dd, makes me laugh to think about it. He hugged her soooo tight and gave her a big smacker on her eyes, i'm sure he almost sucked her eyeball out lol. She looked quite flustered afterwards. She's only 17 mths and quite petite. When he gave her another kiss later you could actually here it, a real smacker pmsl. She gets lots of hugs and kisses from the boys at nursery too. Quite a flirt!

My ds always kisses the mindees that are the same age (2) when they go lol, and gives them big good bye lol. Their mums think that it is really sweet (don't tell them he has 2 girls on the go lol).

They also hug each other when they see each other in the morning as well. It makes you think that they must like coming here!
