How do you know your childminder is doing "age appropriate" activities with your DC according to EYFS?

What actual concerns do you have? All and any activities that a childminder does should meet the aims of the eyfs however how a baby plays with a happyland set will be different to a 4 year old, and a sensory activitiy for a 2 year old may be slightly different to that of a 3 year old.

Moomin I hope y don't mind me saying, you are asking a lot of questions about your new childcare situation. Are you a particularly anxious person? Does the person you have chosen give you any particular concerns? Many of the questions you are asking on here are much better answered by your own childminder. Hopefully she/he will put you as ease.

Good luck.

You ask her.

Ask her! She won't mind!! You just need to ask what activities your DC like to do during the day and she'll tell you.I do a daily diary for my mindees parents and also ask them if there's anything in particular the child really likes to do at home.
