Hi I've just agreed to take a mindee (9yr) on for a school drop. It's only abount 90mins in the morning, a couple of mornings a week and the odd hour after school if parent is unable to get to school intime. Would you use a NCMA contract or something else. If something else does anyone have any examples I could have.

thanks

I have a cm who does this for me and we have used a NCMA contract

I use the ordinary NCMA contract as well.

I don't use the NCMA contracts at all. My contracts for term-time only schoolies have these additional bits:

The Parent and Childminder agree that the term dates referred to in this Contract are the term dates specified by [name of school]. The Childminder will not normally be available during [name of school] School Holidays.

If its not my local primary I add this bit:
The Parent agrees to provide, in writing, the term-time dates of [name of school] at least x days prior to the commencement of each term. If the Childminder has not received this information by the agreed date then it will be assumed that childcare will be required on the term-time dates of [name of local primary] and the Parent will be charged accordingly.

Charges for Absence
[name of school] School Holidays and Staff Training Days - £no charge (£full fees for full year places or £1/2 fees if they want to reserve place for occasional use in holidays)
School Closure Days (eg staff strike, boiler breakdown, heavy snow) £full fees
Bank Holidays in the middle of a School Holiday £no charge (£full fees for full year places)
Bank Holidays during a school term week £full fees
