hi, my family is moving to london in january and we will be visiting london for a week in november to look for a flat. we will need a nanny to care for our 6-month year-old from 9am to 5pm every day. any recommendations on how to find a good, trustworthy person? what agencies are good? we will be living in finsbury park and would ask that the nanny come to our flat. also, any thoughts on pay/hour? thanks so much for any advice!

Try hopes and dreams in islington, not sure of going rate through an agency but seems to be £10 an hour net. There is a nursery on blackstock road that offers short term places, can't remember the name but may be worth a Google Grin

Good agencies - nannies incorporated , rockmybaby

Privately - great places to advertise for experienced nannies - put a private ad on nanny job.co.uk and greatcare.co.uk

Good luck
