A new parent has asked me if i can take their vouchers!! That's fine i already have a account with their provider but i have always been paid electronically and not ever actually had the vouchers myself. The question is what do i do with them?? do i just pay them into the bank like you would a cheque?? and if so how long do they take to clear??

No idea. I have a policy of not taking paper vouchers. Don't want the hassle of dealing with them. Are they able to change to electronic, so you only have to take the paper once? The voucher company's website should have some guidance.

I have just looked on the website and it all looks straight forward It looks like you just enter the voucher number and the amount its for and it pays you. I have requested that they pay a week before the invoice is due to allow for the cyber delay Wink .

I get paid by vouchers. I selected daily redemption. Because family not good at giving me vouchers on time. Takes 3 to 4 days to transfer to my bank account.

Not as bad as I thought then. I thought you'd have to do something like take them to the post office or something Grin

With mine I have to post them off to the company & then they process it & pay me. Normally a week from posting I'm paid but this month it's been nearly 2 weeks with no pay!

Yep when I got paper vouchers I had to post them off. So unbelievably annoying

I have two paper vouchers at the monent: Sodexo and Computershare.

Both are quite straightforward: you can either redeem them over the phone - Computershare's was automated, Sodexo had lovely, friendly operators - or you can log in online and redeem them through the website. I prefer the Sodexo site because I can easily see the payments made (and they've got a pretty graphics entry page that's more interesting Smile).
