Please can someone give me an indication of the going rate for the following:

Mother's help/ housekeeper
Over 21 yrs old
At least 2 yrs experience
Live in
40 hours a week
Have driving license
South East, outside of London

Have 2 kids, one 6 year old and an 18 month old. Won't often have sole care of the children.

Also, am I expected to make pension contributions?

Thanks

You need to make pension contributions from jan2016, but you can defer for a few months. Just factor that in to your salary offer.

The best way to factor salaries is to go to nannyjob.co.uk and put your area and see what is being offered.
