Hi there everyone,

Just wondering what people pay for childcare in Central London? Happy to hear about all options ie. nursery, child-minder, nannies.

Also, what is the best way to find a child-minder?

I have a 10 month old baby, and am trying to figure out if going back to work makes economic sense or not. Having trouble nailing down how much we'd pay in childcare for our area.... thanks for your help!
sorry if this thread has been done, I can't figure out how to search archives!!

Look at www.childcarelink.gov.uk (or something like that). I think childminders are probably the most economic option for one child.

Also think about where your work is located, as if for example you worked out of London (say in Hertford, where i live !!) it might be worth your while sending your little one to a childminder there, as it would be cheaper! x
