Need to gain recent newborn experience

Hi, anyone have any ideas how to gain recent newborn experience so I can become a night nanny. I have 21yrs childcare experience from newborn upwards, but agency still want 3 recent refs, I have 1 ref but still need 2 others I have advertised on my local netmums board offering services for free in return for a ref any other ideas? I work full time so needs to be evening / weekend many thanks

I'd contact your local NCT branch and either advertise in their monthly newsletter (which costs £25 or so) or email their postnatal co-ordination and ask if they can pass your email onto any of their recent attendees, give a leaflet out at their next meeting. I'm sure lots of people would jump at the opportunity of having help overnight.
