Reading between the lines, the Agencies trials are not going quite as she hoped...

So, in the interview.
If the agency goes bust ( one of the last questions) you lose your job but can reapply to OFSTED to be an independent CM.
And people would take that risk why? And what happens to the children being looked after?

Hi, the interview was not conducted by the PLA but by Home Childcarer magazine. Here's another link - www.homechildcarer.co.uk/Interviews/
It doesn't seem like it's compulsory to join an agency.

Tanith · 15/07/2014 12:08

Sorry about link - and erroneous creditation Blush

Interesting article, nevertheless. I wonder how much has been squandered on forcing these agencies through when so few (childminders and businesses) are interested in them?

I read the response of the Environmental groups. Apparently they are relieved to be shot of the last one and hope Liz Truss will listen to them they and look forward to working with her.

Oh boy, are they in for a rude awakening! Grin
