Tips on advertising vacancies

Hi
I am a newly registered childminder and have 4 vacancies in the Elmdon area of Solihull.
I have put up some postcards in the local newsagents by the local schools and registered with the childrens information services but I have had no phone calls. Can anyone suggest ways of advertising my vacancies?

have you tried the local gyms? we just got someone by putting up an ad in our local gym. all the mums use the gym - as do the local nannies! (guess you wd have to be a member of the gym tho)
