I am just about ready to send off my registration application paperwork when I have noticed a couple of mentions of planning permission.

Do we have to get planning permission to childmind?

If you are only going to mind up to 6 children under 8 then you probably won't need PP

However you should ask them what their policy is

I have had to pay lots to PP over the years as our council is daft

you should contact council anyway before becoming a c/m as they assess your area and house for parking/bins etc
