I tend to keep screen time at a minimum for this age group, usually no more than 30 minutes. However, I recently got an Ipad and I'm finding that if I allow them all (2 nearly 3 year olds and a nearly 4 year old) 15 minutes each on it then one of the kids wants to watch each child's turn and therefore ends up having more like 45 minutes screen time!
What should I do? It seems a shame to ban the Ipad altogether, all the apps they use are educational in one way or another and they get lots of pleasure from it. Do I just need to be tougher and not allow them to 'watch' each other?
