We are looking for an adult student or recent graduate for a summer job as babysitter / au pair in San Francisco (Peninsula). Two children - elementary school age.

Live in - commencing June (start as soon as possible) thru to August 29th, 2014 (if you are local, we can discuss live out arrangements also)

The job is essentially driving the children to and from summer day camps and sports activities, with a bit of help with shopping, light cooking for the children, walking the dog etc. Most day times will be free with up to 4 hours work in the afternoon. Some days may involve full time child care, but most of the time the children are in camp or playing sport.

We will pay return airfare from where you are, provide a car, room and board, and allowance.

All weekends off (ie only Monday to Friday) as well as two weeks off in July.

Must be a good driver with current drivers license - uk license ok as you will be on tourist visa as under 3 months - you will have your own bedroom and share a bathroom with children. You must love dogs and cats and the odd lizard Grin and garden variety bug.

A sense of humor will go a long way.

You must be active and energetic, as well as reliable and trustworthy. We will run extensive background and complete reference checks.

Similarly, we are happy to provide our last two nannies (which cover the last 6 years) for you to speak with as well.

We are English expats in California for 10 years.

Thank you for your interest.

If I've posted this in the wrong place, please correct me Grin

Just hoping to find an English Welsh Scottish or Irish lass or lad who'd like a summer adventure in California in return for some driving and help around the house
