Whats the average hourly rate for Childminding?

HI There
I am toying with the idea of childminding so I can be with my own and perhaps look after another 2 or so. (if i can afford it!)

I have got signed up on a registered childminding course, ,and wondered what the "going rate" per hour is for childminding?

as little as 2.50 or as much as 6.00 - i think the avg is about 3.50

I charge £3.50 an hour but it really depends on where you live.
