Hi,

This is something I've never done before and am not sure how to go about it in the best, most suitable and most cost effective way.

I think that I will need to find a temporary nanny to do school pickups, homework and dinner for a short term maybe two weeks. How do I go about finding someone?

thanks

Nanny agency

Advertise locally

Advertise online, such as via Childcare.co.uk, Care.com, NannyJob.co.uk, FindABabysitter.com, Gumtree.com, Mumsnet Local and Netmums Local.

Also look at ads from those looking for work.

thanks both I will check out the agencies. I have advertised for a mothers helper before and was really successful in finding a lovely person to help me. However this time as I won't be around I think i like the security of an agency booking. Does that make sense to those in the know?
