Anyone Employ a Canadian Nanny?

Our current English nanny leaves in a couple of weeks and we are taking on a great Canadian girl.SHe has a visa which entitles her to work in the uk for 1yr of her 2yr visa.I have been using a payroll service for our current nanny but am having conflicting reports about tax and NI for a Canadian.
Can anyone tell me whether I will need to pay tax and NI for her?

Thanks Jura-I assumed I would have to pay tax and NI and planned to continue using the payroll service but I think you are right-some well meaning friend assumed that as she was Canadian (and only staying a year),she must be an AuPair and therefore exempt....but she is a nanny and not part of an AuPair scheme (I don't think Canadians can be)
