Aupair holiday pay

If my aupair returns back to her country for a weeks holiday am I suppose to pay her?

Yes.

She should get the standard UK holiday allowance.

Yes, legally you have to. You also need to have a contract drawn up which should include all about holidays.

It depends what you've already agreed.
There is no legal precedence as she is not an employee, but 4 weeks a years is normal. You do not need a contract, but she should have a letter of introduction, which sets out duties and things like holidays and working hours etc.
Has she taken any holiday already?
Has it been agreed in advance?

Some au pair host families agree 2 weeks per 6 months, but only to betaken when the family is away.
We actually like someone there when the house is empty so do one week each.
