but none of the suggestions on the last thread were appropriate. My great CM of 4 years who looks after my DD and DS is leaving to work in a pre-school. Dont know what to get her but it cant be anything perishable (i.e. flowers/plants etc) as she is going on holiday the day after she finishes.

Any ideas please? She is not a 'girly girl' so dont think the pampering thing would work for her - she's more of a 'rock chick' and quite into music, goes to gigs etc

Would be very grateful.

TIA

vouchers for something like ticketmaster? then she can choose a gig to go to. mind you, i don't know if such things exist, but you can get 'theatre vouchers' so assume similar must exist??

Thanks for the idea. I'm still not sure what type of thing want to get. TBH was going to go down the flowers/plant route but as on holiday the next day dont think this would work that well!

Thanks again.

Vouchers for WHSmiths/HMV etc so she could buy a CD or video?

MP3 player (tescos were doing them from £12?)
